‘Music for a Border Celebration’

Just over 200 years ago the Union Chain Bridge connecting England and Scotland across the River Tweed opened just below Paxton House. As we look forward to the re-opening of the Bridge Concerto Caledonia’s programme celebrates the original historic feat of engineering with Scottish and Italian music that was the height of fashion in 1820.
