It’s the last ever Skins on E4 on Monday. In the meantime, here’s my mix of the music from Skins Pure, which I put together while sitting out on some rocks by Loch Indaal a couple of weeks ago. The whole show is on iTunes, YouTube, and a load of other places depending on which country you’re in. Thanks for all the lovely comments.

I’ve just submitted all my coursework for the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice which has ticking over for the last couple of years, so now that I’m not a student any more I have a bit more time for editing our Tobias Hume album, which is sounding amazing. Seven people managing to play together without playing in time (or we were playing in time without playing together?), all improvising around Captain Hume’s music, whether we had it in tablature, staff notation or in our heads, and Tom Walker playing the Captain with wildness and vulnerability. I can’t wait to have it ready to mix with Calum Malcolm at the end of August. The album will come out on Delphian in June 2014, and we’ll aim to have some live dates round then to send it on its way.
